MARK VANDENBERGHE WINS IN FANCOURT

Congratulations to Mark Vandenberghe who together with his playing partners, Retief Goosen and Lee Slattery won the Volvo Golf Champions 'Playing with the Pros' at Fancourt with a score of -18. Jason Shillito playing alongside Darren Clarke and SSP Chowrasia finished on -9 while Bill Ferguson, Colin Montgomerie and Matt Zions finished on -3. This is the second consecutive year that a UK competitor has won 'Playing with the Pros' after Kevin Aherne's success alongside Darren Clarke and Paul Casey in Bahrain. 
UK SUCCESS IN FANCOURT

Three of the seven VWGC finalists have qualified to 'Play with the Pros' in the Volvo Golf Champions on Fancourt's superb Links Course, rated No 1 in South Africa. Volvo OoM winner Bill Ferguson, UK Final winner Jason Shillito and OoM runner up Mark Vandenberghe will tee it up in the second round of the tournament, each playing alongside two of the European Tour's leading pros. Unfortunately Richard Vale, Jenny Brown, Simon Smith and Emma Howie didn't qualify.
